Vegetarian Chili With Rice
Ingredients
- 1 15 12 oz can red kidney beans drained
- 1 15 12 oz can Great Northern beans drained
- 1 14 12 oz can tomatoes undrained cut up
- 34 c green pepper chopped
- 12 c onion chopped
- 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- 12 tsp dried basil crushed
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 c water
- 2 c hot cooked rice
Directions
- Combine kidney beans Northern beans undrained tomatoes tomato sauce pepper onion chili powder sugar basil garlic and water in a large saucepan
- Bring to boiling and reduce heat Simmer covered for 15 minutes stirring occasionally
- Top each serving with 12 cup rice
- Serves 4
