VelmaS Bread Pudding

Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 12 c plus 2 Tbsp sugar or to taste
- 1 qt milk low-fat if desired
- 4 slices white bread some of the crust removed and torn into small pieces
- 2 Tbsp butter or margarine
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375
- Separate 2 of the eggs and put the whites in a dry clean bowl and set aside
- Put the egg yolks and remaining whole eggs in a large bowl
- Put the milk in a saucepan and add the bread and butter
- Heat the mixture until the milk is hot and the butter is melted stirring
