Velvet Crumb Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 12 c Bisquick
  • 12 c sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 12 c milk
  • 2 Tbsp shortening or oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • fresh fruit and whipped cream or Cool Whip

Directions

  1. Grease and flour an 8 x 8 x 2-inch square pan or a 9-inch round pan
  2. Beat all ingredients until well blended and pour into pan Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean
  3. Cool
  4. Serve with fresh fruit and whipped cream or with Cool Whip as desired
