Velvety Chicken Pate

Ingredients
- 14 c butter
- 12 lb chicken livers halved
- 1 yellow onion chopped
- 1 tart apple chopped
- 2 Tbsp brandy
- 2 Tbsp whipping cream
- 14 c butter room temperature
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- In medium skillet saute butter and chicken livers for 2 minutes
- Add onion and apple and stir for 5 minutes until apple softens
- Stir in brandy and cream
- Transfer mixture to blender and blend 2 to 3 minutes or until smooth
- Refrigerate this mixture for 1 hour
