Venison Delight Stew

Ingredients

  • 5 to 7 raw carrots
  • 5 to 7 baking potatoes
  • 2 to 3 lb deer roast cut off fat
  • 1 or 2 pkg onion soup mix
  • 12 or 1 c water
  • Adolphs seasoning

Directions

  1. Peel and wash carrots and potatoes
  2. Cut up into small chunks Place in the bottom of a crock-pot
  3. Put deer roast on top Sprinkle Adolphs seasoning on meat
  4. Pour onion soup mix over roast
  5. Pour water over top and cover with lid
  6. Cook on low heat for approximately 6 to 8 hours if able or cook on high heat for approximately 4 hours and then lower setting to medium heat
  7. Use judgement depending on size of meat
  8. Periodically as juices develop baste meat and vegetables
  9. It will melt in your mouth
