Venison Soup For Crock-Pot

Ingredients

  • 1 lb venison bones or beef bones
  • 2 to 3 lb venison meat
  • 2 to 3 potatoes washed and diced
  • 2 carrots washed and sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic peeled whole
  • 1 rib celery cut in pieces
  • 2 large onions peeled and sliced or diced
  • 8 peppercorns whole or ground pepper to taste
  • kosher salt to taste
  • Hungarian hot pepper to taste
  • dried wild mushrooms optional

Directions

  1. Put everything into a 6-quart crock-pot Fill with water to 12-inch of top Cover Cook on low 6 to 8 hours or until done Adjust salt
  2. Serve with hearty bread and a salad
