Vermont Country Dill Pickles

Ingredients

  • 2 qt water
  • 1 qt vinegar
  • 23 c salt

Directions

  1. Mix the ingredients and bring to a boil
  2. Add fresh dill and 2 cloves garlic to each 1 quart pickle jar
  3. Wash and drain pickling cucumbers and pack into jars
  4. Pour boiling salt and vinegar solution over cukes and seal jars
