Very Best Swedish Meat Balls

Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 3 slices bread
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 onion chopped fine
  • 1 to 2 cans 16 oz chicken broth
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1 tsp Kitchen Bouquet
  • 1 c milk
  • 14 c flour

Directions

  1. Soak bread in milk
  2. Crumble into ground beef and mix well with egg salt pepper and onion
  3. Form small balls
  4. Roll balls in flour and then simmer in broth and bouillon for an hour or longer
  5. You might use an electric frypan at 200
  6. These freeze well
