Vidalia Onion Casserole
Ingredients
- 4 medium onions sliced
- 3 Tbsp margarine
- 2 Tbsp flour
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 beef bouillon cubes dissolved in 1 c hot water
- 1 12 c bread cubes or croutons
- 2 Tbsp margarine
- 12 c shredded Swiss cheese
- 3 Tbsp Parmesan cheese
- paprika for garnish
Directions
- Saute onions in margarine until tender
- Remove from skillet and place in a bowl
- Add flour salt and pepper
- Mix well and while stirring gradually add beef bouillon
- Fry bread cubes or croutons in margarine in the skillet
- Combine with onion mixture
