Vidalia Onion Casserole

Ingredients

  • 4 medium onions sliced
  • 3 Tbsp margarine
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes dissolved in 1 c hot water
  • 1 12 c bread cubes or croutons
  • 2 Tbsp margarine
  • 12 c shredded Swiss cheese
  • 3 Tbsp Parmesan cheese
  • paprika for garnish

Directions

  1. Saute onions in margarine until tender
  2. Remove from skillet and place in a bowl
  3. Add flour salt and pepper
  4. Mix well and while stirring gradually add beef bouillon
  5. Fry bread cubes or croutons in margarine in the skillet
  6. Combine with onion mixture
