Vidalia Onion Pie
Ingredients
- 1 12 c crushed butter crackers
- 6 Tbsp margarine
- 2 c sliced Vidalia onions
- 34 c milk
- 2 eggs
- 34 tsp salt
- 34 c grated Cheddar cheese
- paprika
- parsley flakes
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Mix cracker crumbs and 4 tablespoons butter press into 8-inch pie plate
- Melt 2 tablespoons butter Saute onions until tender
- Beat other ingredients except cheese together
- Pour onions over cracker crust Pour other mixture over onions
- Sprinkle with grated cheese and dot with paprika or parsley flakes
- Bake 35 minutes
