Vinegar Pie
Ingredients
- 1 c sugar
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 2 Tbsp cider vinegar
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 12 tsp lemon extract
- sweetened whipped cream
Directions
- Bake pie shell cool
- Mix sugar and flour in 2-quart saucepan Add enough water to vinegar to measure 1 cup
- Blend into eggs Stir egg mixture gradually into sugar mixture
- Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils
- Boil and stir 1 minute
- Remove from heat stir in butter and lemon extract
- Cool slightly
- Pour into pie shell refrigerate
- Serve with whipped cream
