Waffle CookiesHarde Vafler

Ingredients
- 12 c sugar
- 12 c butter scant
- salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs separated
- 1 c cornstarch
- 1 tsp baking powder scant
Directions
- Melt and cool butter
- Cream sugar and egg yolks
- Sift cornstarch and baking powder and add to sugar mixture alternating with melted butter
- Fold in beaten egg whites
- Cook on a Norwegian heart waffle iron until light tan
