Ingredients

• 12 c sugar
• 12 c butter scant
• salt
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 eggs separated
• 1 c cornstarch
• 1 tsp baking powder scant

Directions

1. Melt and cool butter
2. Cream sugar and egg yolks
3. Sift cornstarch and baking powder and add to sugar mixture alternating with melted butter
4. Fold in beaten egg whites
5. Cook on a Norwegian heart waffle iron until light tan
