Walnut Coffee Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 2 Tbsp butter or margarine softened
  • 12 c firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 14 c chopped walnuts

Directions

  1. Unroll dough Separate into triangles Spread each triangle with part of the butter or margarine Combine brown sugar cinnamon and walnuts in a small bowl Sprinkle about 1 tablespoon of the mixture over each dough triangle
  2. Roll up as label directs
  3. Place rolls point side down in a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan in two layers
  4. Brush top of loaf with remaining butter or margarine Sprinkle with remaining topping Bake at 375 for 35 minutes Turn out onto wire rack Cool
