Walnut Pie
Ingredients
- 12 c light brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp flour
- 1 14 c light corn syrup
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 12 tsp vanilla
- 1 c walnuts cut up coarse
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust shell
Directions
- Mix in saucepan the sugar and flour
- Add corn syrup and butter
- Warm over low heat until butter is melted
- In large bowl beat eggs with vanilla
- Stir in sugar mixture and nuts Pour into unbaked pie crust shell
- Bake at 350 for 60 minutes then turn oven off for 10 more minutes
- Serve with whipped cream
