Wedding Crab Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 lb crabmeat backfin well picked
  • 2 large cloves garlic minced
  • 1 c heavy whipping cream
  • white pepper and cayenne pepper
  • 2 lb cream cheese softened
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 c grated Gruyere cheese save 14 c for topping
  • Tabasco

Directions

  1. Blend all together
  2. Fold in crab
  3. Pour into greased casserole
  4. Top with 14 cup Gruyere and heat until bubbly in 350 oven for 25 to 30 minutes
  5. Yields 1 quart
  6. Serve with Melba toast
