Western Stew
Ingredients
- 2 lb beef cut in 1-inch cubes
- 1 8 oz bottle Catalina dressing
- 2 c water
- potatoes
- carrots cut in rounds
- onions
- refrigerated biscuits
- grated Parmesan cheese
- margarine
Directions
- Marinate meat in dressing for several hours or overnight in fridge
- Remove from marinade and brown meat
- Combine meat marinade and water in a 2 12-quart casserole
- Cover
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour
- Add vegetables and continue baking for 45 minutes
- Place biscuits around edge of casserole brush with margarine
- Sprinkle with cheese and bake at 475 for 8 to 10 minutes
