Wheat Germ Bread
Ingredients
- 2 34 c all-purpose flour
- 2 pkg yeast
- 12 c wheat germ
- 1 12 tsp salt
- 1 c warm water
- 14 c molasses
- 2 Tbsp shortening
- 1 egg
Directions
- In large mixer bowl combine 1 12 cups flour yeast wheat germ and salt mix well
- Add water molasses shortening and egg Beat 3 minutes at medium speed
- By hand gradually stir in remaining flour to make a stiff batter
- Cover
- Let rise in warm place until light about 45 minutes
- Bake at 375 for 35 to 40 minutes until deep brown
- Remove from pan cool
