White And Dark Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 12 tsp flour
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 12 c brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chunks or chips
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 12 lb butter
  • 12 c granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 6 oz Swiss-style or imported white chocolate or 1 c white chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 325
  2. Combine flour baking soda and salt
  3. Beat butter and sugars until fluffy
  4. Beat in eggs and vanilla
  5. Beat in flour mixture until just combined
  6. Stir in chocolates
  7. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls on ungreased baking sheets
  8. Bake until edges brown but centers are still slightly soft 10 to 12 minutes
  9. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before cooling on a rack
  10. Will yield 5 dozen cookies
