White Clam Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 c minced clams
  • 2 c clam juice
  • 1 c dry Vermouth
  • 12 c chopped parsley
  • 12 c butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp basil leaves
  • 1 c chopped onion
  • 4 to 5 cloves garlic or 12 tsp minced garlic
  • fresh ground pepper
  • angel hair pasta 1 lb

Directions

  1. In a large skillet or Dutch oven saute onion garlic and parsley in melted butter until onion is almost tender add clams clam broth salt basil and pepper
  2. Boil one minute
  3. Cook pasta and serve with clam sauce
