White Fruit CakeFrom Old Fashioned Cooking Canaan Community Cookbook

Ingredients
- 2 c white sugar
- 1 c butter
- 12 lb candied pineapple
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 lb white raisins
- 12 lb coconut
- 4 eggs
- 3 c flour
- 1 c milk
- 12 lb pecans
- 1 tsp vanilla or almond flavoring
- 12 lb red and green candied cherries
Directions
- Cream sugar and butter
- Beat in eggs
- Sift flour and baking powder together
- Add flour alternately with milk and vanilla Stir in other ingredients
- Bake 3 hours at 250 in a tube pan Put water in oven in a pan under cake
- This fruit cake is very moist
- Let cool completely before removing from pan
