White Icing

Ingredients

  • 3 c sugar
  • 14 c syrup
  • 12 c water
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 c powdered sugar
  • 12 tsp cream of tartar

Directions

  1. Bring sugar syrup and water to a boil until spins a thread Remove from heat and add cream of tartar
  2. Pour over egg whites beaten and beat
  3. Add powdered sugar
  4. This is enough for two cakes
