White Sugar Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 c butter
- 1 c powdered sugar sifted
- 2 12 c sifted flour
- 1 Tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Directions
- Beat softened butter until creamy
- Add sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy
- Beat in vanilla
- Stir in flour until it is almost incorporated and then sprinkle milk over dough and finish mixing
- Remove dough from bowl and gather in ball Knead briefly
- Roll 12 at a time 18-inch thick and cut into shapes
- Bake at 325 for 10 minutes
- Edges will be lightly brown
