Whitefish Almondine
Ingredients
- 2 lb whitefish fillets
- 3 Tbsp lemon juice
- 13 c regular all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp seasoned salt
- dash of seasoned pepper
- 14 c butter or margarine
- 12 c blanched slivered almonds
- 2 Tbsp chopped parsley
- lemon wedges
Directions
- Cut fillets into serving size pieces
- Sprinkle all sides with lemon juice
- Combine flour salt and pepper
- Use to coat fish
- In large skillet over medium heat in hot butter or margarine fry fish pieces until brown about 10 minutes turning once
- Place fish on warm platter keep warm
