Whole Wheat Bread Pudding

Ingredients
- 3 thick slices whole wheat bread stale
- 12 c sugar
- 12 tsp nutmeg
- 2 eggs
- 1 qt milk
- 1 c raisins
- 18 tsp salt
Directions
- Remove crust
- Cut in cubes
- Soak in water and squeeze out Place in 2-quart baking dish mix and add milk
- Put in hot oven When it starts to bake well then turn down heat
- Stir often for 2 hours
- Serve hot or cold with whipped cream
