Whole Wheat Muffins

Ingredients
- 2 c whole wheat flour
- 2 Tbsp melted shortening
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 12 tsp salt
- 1 12 c sour milk
Directions
- Mix all dry ingredients thoroughly do not sift Add shortening unbeaten egg and sour milk
- Beat only until smooth Fill well oiled muffin tins 23 full Bake in hot oven at 425 about 25 minutes
