Whole Wheat Pound Cake
Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 c Crisco
- 5 eggs
- 2 c whole wheat flour
- 1 c all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 c milk
- 34 c black walnuts optional
- 3 c sugar
- pinch of salt
Directions
- Cream butter and Crisco
- Add sugar and cream together Add eggs
- one

- a time and beat
- In a separate bowl sift together whole wheat flour all-purpose flour and salt add to sugar
- mixture
- Add vanilla and milk
- Mix well and pour into greased and
- floured tube pan
- Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean
