Wild Turkey Salsa And Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 lb wild turkey breast or chicken
  • 12 c water
  • 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
  • 2 cans stewed tomatoes
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 c chopped onions
  • 1 c chopped red or green peppers
  • 1 chili pepper chopped
  • garlic salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Cut up turkey in chunks and cook in a crock-pot with water on low for 4 hours or until tender
  2. Saute oleo garlic onion and green peppers in a Dutch oven
  3. Add all vegetables in a Dutch oven on top of stove and simmer for 30 minutes
  4. Add cooked turkey and simmer for 15 minutes
