Wonder Dessert

Ingredients
- 6 egg whites
- 2 c sugar
- 2 c unsalted crackers broken into bite size pieces
- 2 c chopped walnuts
- 15 oz can cherry pie filling
- 8 oz Cool Whip
Directions
- Beat egg whites
- to foam
- Add sugar gradually until stiff Fold crackers and walnuts into egg whites
- Pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan Bake at 350 for 25 minutes Cool 1 hour Pour cherry pie filling on top and spoon Cool Whip over cherries Chill and cut into squares
