Yankee Pot Roast
Ingredients
- 1 large roast
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 soup can milk
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- salt and pepper to taste
- potatoes as many as needed
- carrots as many as needed
- 1 onion
Directions
- Place roast in large baking dish
- Mix mushroom soup celery soup milk and onion soup mix all together and pour over roast Add salt and pepper
- Cover and bake at 350 for about 1 12 hours
- Add carrots
- Cover bake 12 hour
- Add potatoes and onion
- Bake another 1 12 hours
- Makes own gravy
- You can cut baking time by preboiling roast
- Drain and put roast in pan with all other ingredients and bake until roast is done
