Yuletide Kisses

Ingredients

• 3 egg whites
• 18 tsp salt
• 12 tsp cream of tartar
• 2 14 c sifted confectioners sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 c broken pecans

Directions

1. Beat egg whites with electric mixer until foamy Sprinkle salt and cream of tartar over top and continue beating until point that egg whites will stand upright Add sugar gradually beating meanwhile Add vanilla and mix well
2. Fold in pecans Drop by spoonfuls on lightly greased baking sheets Bake in preheated oven at 275 for 15 to 20 minutes
3. Yields approximately 5 dozen Store in airtight container
