Zesty Lamb Chili

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1 large onion finely chopped
- 1 stalk celery thinly sliced
- 1 green pepper cut into thin strips
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 1 lb can tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 14 tsp crushed dried red chili
- 12 tsp dried oregano leaves
- 2 15 oz each cans pinto beans or red kidney beans
- shredded Cheddar cheese
- chopped onion
Directions
- Brown lamb well in its own drippings in large deep frying pan
- As lamb browns mix in onion celery and green pepper cooking over medium heat until onion is soft and lightly browned Spoon off fat
