Zesty Submarine

Ingredients

• 1 loaf French bread
• soft butter or margarine
• 1 Tbsp wine vinegar
• 1 Tbsp olive oil
• 14 tsp garlic salt
• 4 or 5 crisp lettuce leaves
• 12 lb sliced salami
• 2 tomatoes sliced
• salt and pepper
• 4 oz sliced Swiss cheese
• 12 lb sliced boiled ham
• 12 c cucumber thinly sliced
• 1 large onion sliced

Directions

1. Cut bread horizontally in half
2. Spread bottom half with butter
3. Stir together vinegar oil and garlic salt dip lettuce into mixture
4. Layer lettuce salami and tomatoes on buttered bread
5. Season with salt and pepper
6. Layer remaining ingredients or tomatoes
7. Place top half of bread on filling secure loaf with picks
