Zucchini Bread And Butter Pickles

Ingredients

  • 1 qt distilled white vinegar
  • 2 c sugar
  • 3 Tbsp salt
  • 2 tsp celery seed
  • 2 tsp turmeric or dill weed
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 4 qt sliced zucchini
  • 1 qt sliced onions

Directions

  1. Bring vinegar sugar salt and spices to a boil
  2. Pour over freshly sliced vegetables and let sit for 1 hour
  3. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes
  4. Pack in hot sterilized jars
  5. Seal Process 10 minutes
  6. Makes 6 to 7 pints
