Zucchini With Dill Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 lb zucchini sliced
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp dill finely chopped
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vinegar

Directions

  1. Sprinkle slices with salt
  2. Let stand 30 minutes
  3. Spread slices on paper towels pat dry
  4. Melt butter in a saucepan add zucchini
  5. Toss until well coated with butter
  6. Cover and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes until barely tender
  7. Meantime beat flour into sour cream
  8. Pour over zucchini
  9. Stirring gently simmer 2 or 3 minutes until thick and smooth
  10. Stir in sugar vinegar and dill
