Zucchini With Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 c soft bread crumbs
  • 14 c chopped onion
  • 14 c chopped celery
  • 1 12 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 12 tsp garlic salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 pt stewed tomatoes
  • 4 c thinly sliced zucchini
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 12 tsp oregano
  • 12 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 16 oz can beef broth
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch

Directions

  1. Blend together broth and cornstarch
  2. Stir into zucchini and tomato mixture
  3. Pour over meatballs
  4. Continue baking 10 to 20 minutes longer
  5. Serve over cooked rice or noodles
